Intl. Prayer and Fasting Campaign

Pittsburgh will be hosting the meeting of the G-20 nations Sept. 24-25. The focus of the international gathering will be on the worldwide economic recession.
Catholics are committed to a response to the crisis that is rooted in the dignity of work and the equality of all peoples.

The Catholic Men's Fellowship of Pittsburgh and the National Fellowship of Catholic Men will lead the G-20 International Prayer and Fasting Campaign. With the shport of Bishop Zubik, the groups will drop to their knees before the Lord in the hopes of changing the hearts of world leaders.

CMF and NFCM are asking Catholics around the world to support and/or participate in the campaign. Those who cannot participate in Pittsburgh are asked to make a holy hour at a parish near them. People wishing to do this should send an email to: info@cmfpitt.org. Organizers hope to have adoration in at least all 20 nations represented by the G-20.
